The short version
Sawdust Math is a set of free calculators. All calculations run in your browser — the numbers you type into a tool are never sent to our servers.
What we collect
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and to see the referring page, country, device and browser type, and page-load timings. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or track you across sites. Cloudflare also serves this site and processes visitor IP addresses to deliver pages.
Your browser stores your theme choice and, in the designer and cut-list tools, your last inputs (localStorage); these stay on your device. A shared link contains your inputs in its address.
Advertising
We do not currently run advertising on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, including full disclosure of the ad partners involved and the choices available to you.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply. We don’t add you to lists or share it.
